About Us

The Western New York State Chapter-NECA, Inc. was chartered on January 17, 1968. We provide management services to signatory IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Electrical Contractors. Our association encompasses the jurisdictions of IBEW Local Union #41 Buffalo, NY, IBEW Local Union #106 Jamestown, NY and IBEW Local Union #237 Niagara Falls, NY.

NECA represents, promotes, and advances the interests of the electrical contracting industry, and the public it serves. Our membership is made up of companies whose principle function is electrical contracting.

WNY NECA supports and serves its members through Labor Relations, Education, Safety Training, Government Affairs, Marketing, Public Relations, Convention/Electrical Industry Exposition, and more. We are dedicated to promoting a strong and positive representation on behalf of our membership. We work to foster strong relationships with labor, the public, local civic and industry groups, and government. We work hard to get you the most out of your association services and strive to always improve local industry conditions.

One favorite benefit among members is The NECA Manual of Labor Units, providing the most reliable labor units available to estimate labor costs accurately.

Interested in Becoming a Member?

Membership in NECA begins with your local Chapter. There are over 100 Chapters in the U.S., each serving a specific geographical area. If you want to take advantage of everything WNY NECA has to offer, contact the WNY NECA office today.

Once you contact the local chapter in your area and complete a membership application the process has started! Upon approval by the local chapter, an application for your company’s membership at the national level will be submitted by the local chapter.
NECA membership is only available to a “person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of “electrical contracting”… defined as the business of erecting, installing, repairing, servicing, or maintaining electrical wiring, devices or equipment.”
The primary services of the association are for signatory contractors who hire union (IBEW) electricians.

We look forward to hearing from you!
